It was a cold December evening one sunny day in June in the year half past eleven when IT happened.
Scene One:
Dr. Sploonge is in his laboratory working on Little Jack
Dr Sploonge: I’ve done it!
Little Jack: What?
Dr S: Shut up you’re dead!
LJ : Ohohoh!
Dr S: Oh dear! The shock of finding out he’s dead… has killed him. Never mind. I’ll get on with my secret, secret, ever so secret work.
LJ : What secret, secret, ever so secret work?
Dr S: My secret, secret, ever so secret work is a formula for a new form of school custard. Oh! My God! What have I said?
LJ : My secret, secret, ever so secret work is a formula for a n…
Dr S: All right! All right! Now then my little one, and you Little Jack, I am now on the edge of perfecting my invention, which I am now on the edge of perfecting.
LJ : You’re on the edge of perfecting your new invention, aren’t you?
Dr S: How do you know?
LJ : I can’t be sure but I think you mentioned it.
Dr S: Oh! Well yes. Anyway, I’ve done and now for the final ingredient
FX Explosion
Dr S: I shall now unveil it! And the new form of school custard.
LJ : My my, that’s really something
Dr S: Yes, but what about the school custard?
Scene Two
Dr Sploonge has delivered the school custard to the school
FX Bell and Thunder
(Cast going “chatter, chatter, chatter”)
Narrator: For listeners who were listening that was supposed to sound like many excited school children, queuing up for school dinners! But, owing to a lack of cast, it may not have sounded very good. Thank you.
Ethel Tid: D’yu want custud pet?
